Flash Bang Band – ‘Art History’ [Review]
According to Flash Bang Band’s press release, Brighton loves them. Well, Brighton clearly has great taste – because these guys are goddamn superb! Flash Bang Band clearly get a kick out of the quirky and unorthodox, pushing their work into the world with tongues firmly in cheeks and hearts worn on sleeves.
There’s something remarkably honest about Flash Bang Band’s work. While the rest of us suppress our weirdnesses for fear of being judged, Flash Bang Band let it all flow free and easy. And in doing so, they’re winning at music. Art History should be considered less a track and a video, and more a valuable and rare life lesson.
