Princess Slayer – ‘Living’ [Review]
This release has been a long time coming – and it’s certainly worth the wait. This is the fattest, slickest Princess Slayer release so far, full of spicy grooves, dirty synths, and finely honed, thoroughly gig-tested songs.
From opening single Passion Alley to Fame‘s quirky riffs via the brand new TMMP favourite Snake Skin, the insistent ecstatic pulse of title track Living, and live crowd favourite God Said (all swampy bass, fascinating lyrics, and one of the scuzziest grooves on the whole EP), this is one of the most idiosyncratically cool EDM releases you’re likely to come across this year.
